Winter water access for your livestock or poultry doesn’t have to mean endless trips hauling buckets or dealing with frozen feed line-ups. The Farm Innovators HB-60 Heated Bucket is a smart, reliable 2-gallon (9-quart) heated bucket designed to prevent freezing and keep fresh water flowing for small herds, pens, or barn-use. With its built-in 60-watt heater and thermostatic control, the HB-60 steps in when temperatures drop — then rests when things warm up, saving energy and giving you peace of mind.

This oversized heated bucket features a heavy-duty anti-chew cord protector and sturdy bail handle with reinforced connectors, making it tough enough for daily barn use. The flat-back or hanging design works great in tight spaces or against a wall. Whether you’re working with goats, sheep, calves, or outdoor poultry, the HB-60 offers year-round water availability without the hassle of constantly thawing buckets.

Features

  • Thermostatically controlled 60-watt heater activates only when needed — less power wasted, more reliability in cold.
  • 2-gallon (9-quart) capacity gives you enough reserve to reduce refilling frequency.
  • Heavy-duty plastic bucket construction with flat back for wall-mount or hanging installation — ideal in barns or coops.
  • Anti-chew cord protector and robust handle with reinforced connectors — designed for real-world farm and barn conditions.
  • Built-in thermostat turns heater on when the water risks freezing (approx. ~35°F) and off once safe (~60°F), giving you consistent performance without over-heating.
  • One-year limited warranty for peace of mind.

Installation Recommendations

Installation Tip:

Mount or place the bucket so the thermostat sensor is fully submerged and the anti-chew cord is anchored out of reach of livestock. Use a dedicated 120 V GFCI outlet and avoid long extension cords (voltage drop can reduce performance). Clean periodically to remove mineral build-up or ice around the sensor for optimal operation.
