Installation Recommendations

  • Always install on a solid concrete pad for stability and proper anchoring.
  • Route the water supply line below frost depth to protect the valve and plumbing.
  • Use a GFCI-protected 110V outlet for the heater to ensure safe winter operation.
  • Before connecting the valve, flush the line to remove debris that could affect fill rate.
  • Anchor securely if installed in high-traffic areas or pens with larger animals.
  • Seal around the base if wind exposure is high to improve freeze resistance.
