Franklin Cotter Pin for Valve Assembly Bracket 40642

This is the cotter pin that locks the black valve assembly bracket (part 60424) securely in place at the top of the stand pipe on your Franklin F5 or PolyRae waterer. It is a small part, but it does an important job. Without it, the bracket and valve can shift or work loose over time from everyday vibration and use, which leads to leaks or a valve that will not sit right.
