The JUG Uninsulated Earth Tubes provide an additional layer of protection by preventing direct contact between the earth and your waterline. With a 15" outer diameter, these corrugated plastic tubes are designed to resist rust, rot, and chemically active soil conditions, ensuring long-lasting performance. The corrugated design adds strength and rigidity while keeping the tubes lightweight and easy to handle during backfilling.
Uninsulated Earth Tubes are often used to extend Insulated Earth Tubes into warmer ground below the frost line, creating a heat well when paired with the Earth Tube Coupler.
Available Sizes:
- 3-foot sections
- 4-foot sections
Bury your waterline at least one foot below the frost line and align the top of the Earth Tube with your concrete pad for optimal results.
NOTE: The earth tube is intended to be used under automatic waterers. We cannot guarantee that use outside of it's intention will work.

We are asked this often, and the honest answer is that we are not able to advise on it. These earth tubes are made for use under automatic waterers, and that is the only use we have information for. We do not have specifications or testing for anything outside of that, so we cannot tell you how one would hold up under a driveway or whether it would work for drainage.
