The Pride of the Farm HE1031B Heating Package is a complete dual-heater system designed specifically for the WML30 metal automatic waterer. This kit includes two HE10146 200-watt heater coils and the HE-CNTRL air-sensing thermostat, all pre-wired for fast, straightforward installation.
The HE1031B is engineered for older, larger Pride of the Farm metal models that require two heating elements to properly protect both sides of the trough. When temperatures fall, the thermostat automatically activates the heaters around 40°F and turns them off near 60°F, delivering efficient freeze protection without constant power use.
The dual-heater setup ensures the WML30 maintains open, flowing water in harsh winter conditions while protecting the valve chamber and plumbing from freeze damage. Whether you're replacing an outdated heating system or restoring an older WML30 unit to full winter readiness, the HE1031B offers dependable, farm-ready performance.
Installation is simple: mount the thermostat in the air space above the valve area (not submerged), position each HE10146 heater on its respective side of the trough, connect power, and the unit is ready to operate.
