The high pressure version of the WaterMatic 150 chamber kit. Green valve, long arm float and bracket, ordered as one line rather than hunting three part numbers down separately.
Three parts, one order
- Ritchie green 1/2" valve #13597 — rated 60 to 80 PSI.
- Ritchie float #12836 — the long arm float, which is the one a WaterMatic 150 high pressure, built before 2022 takes.
- Ritchie valve bracket #11515 — supplied with its screw package.
Because the three parts have to agree with each other. Buy them separately and you are checking a valve against a float against a bracket across three listings, and if one of them is on back order the other two sit in a box while the waterer keeps dripping. One line on the order, one box, one trip out to the unit.
Green is the 60 to 80 PSI valve
This kit is built around the green 13597, which handles 60 to 80 PSI and passes 1.45 gallons per minute. That is the band city water usually lands in. Take your reading at the waterer rather than at the meter, and if it comes back over 80 PSI put a pressure reducing valve on the line before fitting anything else.
Ritchie 1/2 inch valves by pressure
All three share the same body and thread. What changes is the orifice, so the color tells you the pressure band it is built for.

It is not meant to thread in until the threads disappear. Snug it by hand and leave it. A wrench, or an extra half turn of determination, is what splits a valve bracket, and a bracket split that way falls outside the warranty. Ritchie prints the same warning in red on the valve packaging.
