This did not fix my heater. The Trojan stock tank heater is only 2 years old and pilot light will not stay lit. I would like to think I could get more than 2years of use out of it, if thermocouple doesn’t fix it what else could it be. The pilot will light but goes out after releasing the button.
Hello Jeff, thank you for your review and as always, you can contact us direct if you need further troubleshooting help. There could be multiple things other than the thermalcouple that could be causing this. Deposits in your fuel can clog the orifices, not tilting the heater towards your trough as directed can cause condensation buildup that would put the pilot light out are two examples. I would suggest contacting Trojan Specialty Products direct at 800-279-1770 for further, detailed help as there are other things beyond a thermocouple that may need to be looked at.
