An insulated holder makes a big box that weighs very little. UPS prices a box like this on the room it fills rather than what the scale says, so a 15 pound holder rates at roughly 33 pounds and the shipping runs higher than you would expect.
The holders do not nest, so every one ships in a box of its own. Four holders are priced as four boxes, not one large one.

The MBH5RLB from Brower and Pride of the Farm is a red insulated holder for a standard 5 gallon bucket, and the bucket itself is sold separately. The shell is molded poly filled with foam, close to R-7.5 of insulation for every inch of wall, which is what keeps water drinkable when the weather turns hard in either direction.
There are four pre drilled bolt holes in it, so mounting to a stall wall, a corner post or a barn panel takes a few minutes. The heat retention cover is part of the package. In winter it slows the freeze, and in summer it keeps the sun off the water.
Everything drains, so there is no pocket of old water sitting in a corner and nothing for mosquitoes to work with. Bucket in, cover on, bolts tight.
