Checking your valve size, measure the orifice and not the thread
All Franklin valves thread in the same way, a standard 3/4 inch hook up, so the fitting will not tell you which valve you are holding. The 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch names describe the orifice, the opening the water flows through. Look down through the threads at that opening. On a 1/2 inch valve it is roughly the width of a pencil tip. On a 3/4 inch valve it is closer to the width of a pencil eraser.
