Valve cover, HC-7 VOE
The VOE housing for the HC7, smallest of the Hoskins horse waterers, on either frame height. Horses investigate things, and this is the part that takes it.
Hoskins describe this housing as shielding the valve gear and holding warmth around it. Warmth is the half that counts once the temperature drops. A split or missing housing puts moving air straight onto the valve, and a seized valve empties a pen faster than a tired element ever will.
