Miraco catalogues part 186 as the valve small parts box. On this store we list it by what it actually does: it is the parts kit that rebuilds a blue 521B valve, and it is the only Miraco kit that carries both orifice sizes.

Two blue kits on this site — which one?
Our 521B internal parts kit is the small one: pins, plunger and the two arms. The 186 is the box — it adds the plunger seats and both orifices. Take the small kit for a quick swap of known-worn internals; take the 186 when you are rebuilding properly or changing the pressure the valve runs at.
Why the orifice sizes are the useful bit. A 3/8 in. orifice passes more water at low pressure; a 3/16 in. restricts it where pressure is high. Having both in the box means one part number covers either supply, and if you are not sure which is fitted now, the size is the fastest way to tell by eye.
Reading the suffix letters. Miraco marks several of these components by valve colour — 677B, 678B, 679B and 681B on the blue, the same numbers with a G on the grey. On an old invoice that letter is colour, not a different part.
A grey valve body takes part 189, not this one. The complete blue valve, if the body is damaged, is the 521B.
